However, there’s one downside to those tempting dishes – the high sugar content.  To help you stay healthy this summer, we have compiled a list of 5 super cool smoothies that are not only delectable but also very healthy as they are made using natural food only and guess what? There is zero sugar in these!

These smoothies are extremely easy to make and the ingredients required for each one can be found in your home’s kitchen. All you have to do is put all the ingredients together and blend them using any regular blender. Voila, your smoothie is ready to be relished by you!

Note: Ingredients quantity mentioned below is for one serving. You can increase the quantities proportionately per your requirements.

  1. Creamy Orange Vanilla Smoothie

Citrus rich fruits like the orange are rich in vitamin A and B1. Because of the presence of potassium, dietry fiber and calcium, orange has anti inflammatory properties and also lowers cholesterol. Thus, this creamy orange passion smoothie will not only refresh your body and mind but will also be beneficial to your health.

Ingredients:

1/2 cup almond milk

1/2 cup nonfat Greek Yogurt

Juice of 1 orange or 1/2 cup orange juice

1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Ice cubes, as required

  1. Tangy Tomato Carrot Smoothie

This smoothie is sweet yet a bit spicy owing to a dash of black pepper in it. People who like their drinks not very sweet love this smoothie. 4medium sized carrots, cut into 1 inch cubes

6medium sized tomatoes, quartered

Ingredients:

4 tablespoon chopped mango

1/2 teaspoon clove powder

2 sprigs mint leaves

250 ml yoghurt (curd)

Ice cubes, as required

  1. Watermelon Banana Smoothie

Lastly, it’s time for the super popular fruit of summer, across the world! This mouth watering watermelon smoothie will boost your energy and keep you hydrated throughout the day. The electrolytes present in it also replenish the essential minerals that your body loses with sweat.

Ingredients:

2 cups chopped water melon

½ cup low fat yogurt

½ banana, peeled and diced

4-5 fresh mint leaves

Ice cubes, as required
